Even now my witness is in heaven; my advocate is on
high. My intercessor is my friend as my eyes pour out tears to God.

Don't look at the big picture and focus on what you think you haven't overcome, look at the small steps and realize the strength that you've gained just since yesterday. Each day will bring new peace as you travel your journey.

Why was Me, Myself, and GOD started?
It was started because there is a true need for hurting widows and
widowers. When I became a widow at the age of 27, I couldn’t find any type
of support for someone remotely close to my age. I looked for financial
assistance, as I was struggling because we didn’t have any life insurance,
but there was none to be found. So I learned how to fight; how to push
through on my own. Now that my children are older, I want to pass on the
wisdom that I’ve gained over the past several years to other widows and
widowers who are struggling to make it.
Why was the name “Me, Myself, and GOD” chosen?
Me, Myself, and GOD was a name that was heaven sent. I wanted to have
a name that would demonstrate my relationship with God and how He has been
with me through my entire journey. Furthermore, I wanted individuals to see
that they too can have this same positive and successful relationship with
God. When an individual loses a spouse, they soon realize that friends and
family have to go back to their own lives, living out their dreams. They
don’t have the time to sit with you each day, holding your hand through the
grieving process. So that is when your life becomes all about Me, Myself,
and GOD.
Is this site aimed at only Christians?
No. This site is designed to help all people. Acts 10:34 states “…God
is no respecter of persons.” He loves everyone, and shows no favoritism. You
will see scriptures in various places throughout the site, and observe
references to God’s love for you. God is good, and He is real. I can only
hope that you find this site useful and positive for your needs, and in the
process that you will realize that no matter how you may feel, you are never
alone.
If I want to make a donation, is it tax deductible?
Yes. Me, Myself, and GOD is considered a non-profit organization
working under the umbrella of the High Desert Community Foundation.
Why did it become important to begin using Facebook and Twitter?
Social media has changed the way that we communicate with one another.
Facebook and Twitter establish a way for widows and
widowers to connect, especially in their own area. I would love to be able
to reach out to everyone who is hurting and give them a hug, but that is not
logistically possible. So that is why social media became a big part of the
overall picture.
Is the website geared toward all ages?
Yes. All ages, men and women, can take advantage of the resources
available to them on this site. I do, however, have a soft spot in my heart
for the younger (ages 25-45) widows and widowers, as I understand how
difficult it can be, especially with young children.
If I have other questions or concerns, can I fill out the Contact form and
know that someone will contact me?
Yes. We would love to hear from you.
Where does the the money go?
All donations receiced by Me, Myself, and GOD go directly to families in financial distress due to the loss of a spouse. Grants are awarded to individuals to cover various monthly household expenses for a period up to six months based on family size and need.
How do I donate?
You can use PayPal (whether you have an account or not) or send a check. Should you choose to send a check, please make it payable to the High Desert Community Foundation, as Me, Myself, and GOD is an affiliate member of this organization partnering together to bring hope back into the lives of widows and widowers throughout the world.
